Robert Buchsbaum is a Coastal Ecologist with the Massachusetts Audubon Society. Part of his effort is at the North Shore Office in Wenham, MA.
Among other activities Robert is a Member of the Salt Marsh Science Team at Massachusetts Audubon.

There are ten species of turtles that are native to Massachusetts. Currently seven of the ten species are listed by Massachusetts Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Progam. Many native turtle species have declined due to habitat loss, habitat fragmentation, road kill, the pet trade, or being harvested for culinary delights. Images by S. Speak
